Meet Our Staff
Reverend Dr. Diana Jackson-Lovett is the Pastor of Christian Education. Rev. Jackson-Lovett is a native of Norfolk, Virginia. She received Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Michigan State University, a PhD in Counseling from the University of Maryland College Park, and the Masters of Divinity from Howard University School of Divinity. Her training also includes completion of the Institute for Management & Leadership in Education program at Harvard University and the certificate program in Executive Coaching at Georgetown University. She has been a disciple of First Baptist Church since 1979. She accepted the call to Ministry and joined the Pulpit Staff of FBC in 1996. She was licensed in 1999, and ordained in 2002. She joined the full-time Pastoral staff in 2006. Rev. Jackson-Lovett is a committed and enthusiastic teacher of the Word. In addition to providing oversight for the Christian Education ministry, which includes Bible classes for all ages, summits and institutes, training classes for ministries, etc, she provides oversight for new ministries and multiple established Church ministries, as well as a variety of church-wide programmatic initiatives.
Rev. Jackson-Lovett is happily married, and, with her husband, Darryl Lovett, they are the blessed parents of five children, a son-in-law who is in the ministry, and two grandchildren.
Minister Kimberli Meadows was licensed to preach the Gospel in November of 2013 at the First Baptist Church, Inc. of North Brentwood by Rev. Dr. Duane T. Kay. She is studying for a Master of Divinity degree at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C. after more than 25 years as a successful broadcast producer and public relations professional. As a member of the staff at First Baptist Church, Inc. of North Brentwood, she serves as the Executive Assistant to the Pastor of Christian Education. As a communications specialist for the church, she spearheads marketing and public relations efforts for internal and external audiences by writing, designing and producing marketing materials for print and broadcast distribution.
Minister Meadows’ true passion is worshiping Jesus Christ through the Arts. She has dedicated herself to winning souls for Christ by serving in the Music and Drama Ministries. She enjoys cooking, marveling at nature, writing plays and poetry, directing stage and television productions, and spending time with family and friends. She has been married to Deacon Terry Meadows for more than 20 years, and they are blessed with three gifted young adult children, and one grandson.
Minister Andre E. Temoney was licensed to preach the Gospel in November of 2013 at the First Baptist Church, Inc. of North Brentwood (FBCNB) by Rev. Dr. Duane T. Kay. He joined FBCNB in 2007. As a result of his passion for Christ, commitment and influence, eight of his family members joined soon after. He quickly became an active and reliable member of many ministries including Trustee, United Men, Mentoring, and many others. Minister Temoney’s leadership skills and creativity have enabled him to establish a thriving career in print production in both the non-profit and commercial sectors. A successful youth football coach for more than five years, Minister Temoney takes great pride in helping athletes set goals that will make them champions on and off the field.
Minister Temoney enjoys music, sports, spending time with family, and laughing. He’s been described as quick-witted, calm, hard-working, diplomatic and honest. He resides in Mitchellville, Maryland with his loving wife, Cheri, and their two, talented children.
Reverend Dr. Carlynn M. Fuller
Reverend Dr. Carlynn M. Fuller (Reverend Lynn) is a native Washingtonian. She was educated in the District of Columbia Public School System, graduating from McKinley Technical Sr. High. Reverend Lynn received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from George Washington University; a Master of Divinity Degree from Virginia Union University; and, Juris Doctorate Degree from Howard University School of Law. She answered her call to the ministry in 1995 and was licensed to preach in 1998. Reverend Lynn was ordained in the Pentecostal Church in 2001. In 2012, after completing the Baptist Catechism process, she was ordained by Antioch Baptist Church in Upper Marlboro, MD.
Reverend Lynn has served in various ministerial capacities since answering her call to preach; from Associate Minister to Assistant Pastor. She joined the First Baptist Church in 2014. She regularly teaches Bible Study, New Members Orientation class and she also serves as the Director of Missions. Her greatest joy comes from teaching and preaching God’s Word, sharing God’s love, and ministering to the people of God as the Lord leads her.
Reverend Fuller currently serves as the Executive Director of the District of Columbia Real Property Tax Appeals Commission. She has two adult sons, one adult daughter and three beautiful granddaughters.
